Lord Bless the Work

bless the work of my mind

bless the work of my hands

bless me in my going out

bless me in my going in

bless me upon rising

bless me as I take my rest

Lord Bless me in all things and in all places

and send me Angels who do good for those who love the Lord.

Bless the Sick

Lord bless the sick in their hour of need.

Lord send ministering angels to open up the wellsprings of the soul

and to pour healing balms out over every hurt.

Bless the Pets

Lord bless the animal companions of the faithful

and give the pets of those of little faith a break too.

Bless the Peace

Lord Bless those who teach peace

for war is not the triumph of God but the failure of man

Bless my adversaries with an empathetic heart and a craving for harmony and justice

and give them the insight to take a peaceful path to their goals.
